But when a woman does it, she's 'shameless'. You're a woman, Yvette. Why are you so comfortable kneeling to a misogynistic mindset?"

"I love that word," Starla said lightly. "Are you done whining? Can we get down to business?"

Yvette shoved a thick manifest toward Starla. "This is every liquid asset the Yelchin family has."

Starla took the folder, didn't even bother looking at it, and handed it straight over her shoulder to Garret. "Verify it."

"Right away," Garret nodded.

Yvette's eyes bugged out. "What is there to verify?! After everything you've pulled, the entire family is terrified of you. No one would dare hide a single cent!"
