My mother immediately scolded, "Ashley, why did you hit your brother? He is still a child, so it is inevitable for him to do something wrong."

I hadn't told my mother that Edward asked me to divorce. Now Mom wanted me to take out so much money. I was really exhausted.

"You... There's something wrong with your elder brother's factory. The capital hasn't been transferred well, so I want to ask you for some money to deal with the emergency." Mother said.

"I've told the elder brother that there's something wrong with his factory and asked him to shut it down. Why didn't he listen?" I was confused.

"Your elder brother's factory runs well, why should it be stopped? You go back and tell Edward that ten million is enough." My mother said confidently.

After hearing this, I stood up and said, "I don't have so much money. Tell my elder brother to either go bankrupt or go to jail. He can choose it himself."

"Ashley, why are you so cruel? You live a rich life, and you just watch your brother being chased after debt?" My mother got angry with my words, and she stood up and growled at me. I looked at my mother, and the sadness and sorrow filled my heart.

I came back to seek comfort, but I didn't expect that my family only knew to ask me for money.

They never asked me if I had a good life in the Xis. Every time I came back, they asked me for money.

"If anything happens to your elder brother, I won't live either." My mother sat on the ground and said to me.

Looking at my mother, I blinked my sour eyes and said in a dull voice, "When will you need money?"

"Tomorrow, your brother will take it tomorrow." When the mother saw that there was a chance, she immediately stood up again.

"Okay, I'll go... and ask Edward ."

"Betty, what's wrong with you?" I was so frightened that I scrambled to get up from her.

"Child... my child..."Betty's face was as pale as the white snow outside.

I hugged my legs and trembled as I looked up at Edward, who was staring at me with creepy eyes.

I rushed over and want to explain that I didn't fall down on purpose and hit Betty.
