Out of the blue, R7CKY piped up, asking Yvan, “Got a computer?”

“Yes.”

With a knowing look from Yvan, Carl promptly pulled out a brand new Alienware laptop, eliciting a whistle from R7CKY, “This beauty here, Ventus would dig.”

Ventus just shot him an indifferent glance before pulling out a sleek tablet, their own custom-built piece of tech designed for deep-web searches and pinpointing digital footprints.

Watching the duo get ready, Logan knew he was about to get a front-row seat to a masterclass in cyber-sleuthing. Yvan watched intently too, a look of eager learning across his face, as father and son settled opposite R7CKY and Ventus. As soon as the computer booted up, Ventus activated the Bluetooth and synced up with the tablet.

The screen split in two, displaying an array of letters in various sequences. Yvan hardly looked away, his fingers dancing over the keyboard at a pace that left Logan in awe.

Soon, they uncovered Orson’s private number and, through tracking, pinpointed the last location he used it. They began scouring nearby CCTV footage, finding a clip of Orson answering a mysterious call before dashing off to a hospital.

That hospital… it was where Matilda had stayed.

It clicked for Logan then – the necklace around Matilda’s neck. Orson must have been going there to give Matilda that necklace.

“No, I’m going!”

Logan’s eyes were resolute.

“Too dangerous, you’re not going!” Yvan hadn’t been this stern with Logan in a long time. Rescuing Orson could mean a direct confrontation with Chad’s men. He couldn’t gamble with Logan’s safety!

“No, I’m going. Danger or not, I’ll stand by your side.”

Logan looked up at Yvan, “What do I have to fear? My mother is the Jungle Union’s Lady Matilda, my father is Yvan Boyd of the Boyd Group empire, and my mentor is the world’s top hacker. What do I have to be afraid of?”
