Chapter 66
They were aware that Yale had recently recommended a friend to Johnny. However, Yale hadn’t provided any further details, so they weren’t fully aware of the situation.
What happened with Freya today was actually similar to something that had occurred last year.
Last year, the girl involved was the mistress of one of the company’s senior executives. She was
sweet–faced, confident, and charming.
She claimed to be a graduate student from a top domestic university with a solid foundation in the

However, upon further questioning, it turned out that she was completely clueless, even about basic professional terms.

Simon, who had worked with Yale, briefly outlined the details.
Johnny nodded and turned to Freya. “Since Yale is stepping down, could you take over his remaining
tasks?”
Freya had no objections. “Sure.”

The others smiled politely but didn’t seem overly enthusiastic. They were hoping that Freya really

had some skills, as they didn’t want to be left with all the work.
As for Simon, who had worked with Yale, he looked somewhat troubled but could only respond with politeness, “The materials are all here. If you have any questions, feel free to ask me.”
Freya replied, “Alright, thank you.”
Simon thought, “Well, at least her attitude is good.”
After leaving Cole Corporation, Yale immediately called Raven.
“Freya started working at Cole?”
“Yes.” Yale found it strange. “You didn’t know?”
“She hasn’t even gone to graduate school; she only has an undergraduate degree,” Raven interrupted coldly.
