Chapter 178
Treya immediately understood that the person he was referring to was Matteo.
Treya nodded. “Yes.”
Her posture and the way she was absorbed in her book were indeed very similar to Matteo’s.
It wasn’t their appearance that was similar, but the way they focused on something.
Suddenly, Harry realized that, in some ways, Freya and Matteo were very much alike. Both of them loved the same subject, which was finance.
Thinking about it, they probably would get along well.
However…
As he thought about their marriage, Harry’s gaze darkened slightly.
People said that Freya had used underhanded tactics to force Matteo into marriage.
He used to believe that wholeheartedly.
But after interacting with her a few times, he realized that she wasn’t that type of person.
Her thoughts didn’t seem to be so complicated.
After dinner, the yacht was ready to return to port.
By the end of the day, Xavier, Hugo, and Daisy had become quite familiar with each other.
They weren’t nervous around Harry anymore. When it was time to leave, Xavier waved to him and said, “See you next time, Harry.”
Harry nodded, his eyes lingering on Freya as he said, “See you next time.”
“See you,” Freya replied.
After saying their goodbyes, she got into the car and left without looking back.
Back at the Miller family home, after she went upstairs, Hugo excitedly shared with Old Madam Miller what had happened that day.
When they learned that the person Freya had made plans with was Harry, Old Madam Miller was very surprised.

After all, Harry and Matteo had grown up together as friends, and Freya had never been particularly close to him before. How could things have suddenly changed…?
Jason, however, said, “I was wondering why the Becker family suddenly reached out to me about collaborating Recently, Harry Becker has been very friendly toward me. So it seems…”
Helen added, “So it seems like it’s true, then?”
Old Madam Miller, who knew Freya well, said, “Freya hasn’t officially divorced yet. I don’t think she has any particular intentions in this regard. Let’s just go with the flow and not interfere too much.”
“I understand,” they all replied.
The next morning, after waking up at the Miller family home, Freya had just finished breakfast when her phone
rang.
It was a call from Matteo.
Freya saw the caller ID but didn’t answer.
Instead, Matteo sent a message: “Tomorrow is the parent–child event at Isabella’s school. Don’t forget to come.”
Freya saw the message and replied: “I’m not available.”
Matteo called again.
Freya didn’t answer and turned off her phone.
After finishing her work, she turned her phone back on and saw a message from Matteo: “Are you at the Miller family home?”
Though it was just a few words, Freya understood that he was implying he would come over to the Miller house if she didn’t respond.
Freya tightened her grip on her phone and sent a reply: “What time does it start?”
Matteo didn’t respond for over half an hour and then finally replied, “9 AM.”
Freya didn’t reply.
That evening, Isabella called.
Freya answered the call, and Isabella immediately asked, “Mom, why haven’t you come back yet?”
Dad said you’d be back to go to the parent–child event tomorrow, but it’s already past 9 PM, and you’re still not
home…”

Freya reassured her, “Mom won’t be going back there. I’ll go straight to your school tomorrow.”
Isabella didn’t expect that: “Oh…”
Freya said, “You should rest early.”
“I will,” Isabella replied.
After hanging up, Freya contacted Johnny to inform him she’d be a little late for work the next day.
The following Monday morning, she arrived at Isabella’s school right on time.
