"Okay!" Byron nodded again.
"That's all." Athena then got up and walked towards the kitchen.
Byron stood up and followed her. "What do I need to do daily to care for the children?"
"Three meals, a nutritious snack in the morning and afternoon." Athena opened the refrigerator, took out a fruit crisper with Mia's name on it, picked it out, and took out a banana. "For example, now is the time for Mia's milkshake."
With a serious face, Byron watched Athena make a milkshake for Mia.
"Mia likes to eat cold things, but if she eats too much, she will have diarrhea. So, in summer, you can add a little bit of ice to it. A little is enough."
Byron nodded. "I'll keep that in mind."
"Aside from three meals, Aiden and Mia don't have much to do. Aiden spends most of his time reading and programming. Mia spends most of her time drawing but has many friends in a nearby small park and goes there around 7:30 every morning."
"Many friends?" Byron was in a daze. "I think she told me that before. Are you talking about those elder and dogs and cats?"
"Yes." Athena glanced at him. "What else did she tell you?"
Byron sat in front of the bar in the kitchen and said, "There are quite a lot of them. She tells me about all kinds of animals and stuff like that. She doesn't talk about things at home."
"This is a family rule." Athena poured the milkshake into Mia's cute cup. "Although she likes to talk, she will not violate this rule."
"You taught her well," Byron said sincerely.
Athena poured the milkshake with downcast eyes and said to Byron before going upstairs, "It's not that good, Mr. Crawford. My only hope for you is that you don't spoil your children. If I were not at the supermarket today, you would've probably bought the entire supermarket, right?"
Byron coughed lightly. "I'm not very experienced. I'll keep that in mind next time."
Athena shook her head.
She intuitively felt that Byron was a doting father.
Athena got up helplessly. When she went downstairs, Byron had not left yet.
He stood by the side door of the kitchen, looking at the small garden outside the kitchen.
"She finished it so quickly?" Byron asked in surprise when he heard the footsteps and regained focus.
Athena used the cup washer to clean the cup quickly. "I don't know what she's drawing. She's been spending all her time on it in the past several days."
"Probably praying for Aiden." Byron guessed.
"What are you looking at?" Athena asked curiously. She did not have the time to plant any flowers in that small garden yet.
"Mia told me about the small garden at home." Byron withdrew his gaze.
Athena was in a daze for a moment. "Yes, when we returned to the country, she liked the sunshine here very much. Because the garden is just under her studio, we discussed that we were going to buy some beautiful flowers and make the garden full of flowers of various colors. But... Later, too many things happened, and it was delayed."
