My Flash Romance With the Richest Mogul novel Chapter 1916

Manfred closed the book and glanced up at Vivian.

"I've had a bit of an interest in it before, but these past couple of days, I've wanted to understand it better," he said.

Vivian was somewhat surprised. "I didn't think you'd be into books like this. You really have a range of interests. But you don't have to keep reading—I can teach you."

Learning fortune-telling was always easier with a guide. Besides, Manfred was sharp. She knew he'd catch on quickly once she showed him the ropes.

A glint of mischief flickered in Manfred's eyes. "Can you teach me?"

"Of course! Anything I know that you want to learn, I can teach you. We'll learn from each other," Vivian said without hesitation.

Manfred had been restless since the day before. That morning, he'd even sent Kemp to Holland Residence with a message for Alger, telling him not to come. He didn't want Vivian's attention divided. But now, things felt different.

She was willing to share everything with him. This meant that, in her eyes, he was the most important person. He didn't care about Alger, that old man. The farther he stayed away, the better.

"Learning from each other? Alright, let's do that."

Meanwhile, at Holland Residence, Alger had been up since dawn, restless. He planned to have breakfast and then head to the Atkinson residence.

However, when Kemp arrived with the news that Manfred and Vivian had other matters to attend to and couldn't meet with him that day, Alger immediately felt a wave of disappointment settle over him like a heavy coat.

At his age, he could easily tell what was going on.
