My Flash Romance With the Richest Mogul novel Chapter 1815

The sandwiches were warm, still giving off a slight heat.

Vivian's eyes met Manfred's gaze.

When Manfred looked at someone with his usual neutral expression, the coldness in his eyes could freeze a person without him uttering a word. Yet, when his gaze fell on Vivian, that coldness quickly dissipated.

"I brought you some sandwiches. They're fresh, just made. I'm not sure if you'll like them, but Edgar made them. He's an excellent cook, " Vivian said, setting a few sandwiches on the table.

She glanced around curiously. The things she had bought, including the blankets, were nowhere to be seen. She wondered if Manfred had hidden them.

Manfred sat down, his eyes briefly resting on the warm sandwiches, his mind lost in thought.

"Go ahead, eat before they get cold," Vivian said, thinking he might feel awkward about eating.

Manfred nodded. "Okay."

Though Manfred had never tried a sandwich before, he ate slowly, savoring each bite as if committing the taste to memory.

Vivian watched him in silence.

Before coming here, she had already eaten two sandwiches. She had taken a few with her to the bedroom, telling Edgar she had some work to do.

Knowing Vivian was busy, Edgar didn't bother her. So, Vivian had time to stay here.

"I've hidden everything in a compartment under the bed," Manfred said.

Vivian didn't ask why. "Everything comes with a user manual. If you don't understand anything, just ask me," she replied.

Manfred responded with a quiet hum.

"Do you like reading?" Vivian asked.
