My Flash Romance With the Richest Mogul novel Chapter 1732

Skylar said, "Mom, Harvey has always been someone with his own mind. We should respect his decision. It's only been a short time since the breakup, so he might not be feeling great."

Janine understood now. It wasn't just a simple argument. "Do you know why they broke up?"

She had always had a good impression of Alina. It was rare for Harvey to harbor feelings for a woman, and yet, they broke up so soon.

"Now that they've broken up, the reason isn't as important," Skylar replied, feeling no need to tell Janine about Alina's betrayal.

Janine wasn't the type to pry into things anyway. As a mother who had raised all her children on her own, Janine knew that when they didn't speak about something, it probably wasn't a good reason. So, she decided not to ask.

"Alright, make sure to spend more time talking to him. Harvey isn't someone who dwells on things, but it's still tough after ending a relationship. He listens to you the most. After some time, I'll invite both of you over for dinner," Janine suggested.

Skylar smiled as she listened. "Vivian misses your cooking."

"I miss Vivian too. But aren't you still busy with work? And Joe, too? How about you send Vivian to me this weekend? I'll have her play with Ted and me," Janine said.

As soon as she heard Vivian's name, all her sadness about not having a daughter-in-law vanished. Right now, nothing was more important than her granddaughter.

After the call with Janine ended, Skylar turned to Joe, who was having lunch with her. During lunch break, Joe happened to be nearby, so the two of them went to a nearby restaurant to have lunch together.

"Harvey won't let a relationship weigh him down. Don't worry," Joe said.

Skylar nodded. "I'm not too worried."

"When do you think the current project will wrap up?" Joe asked.
