From Sneers to Cheers: Anthea’s Ascent (Anthea ) novel Chapter 502

This person wasn’t an old man at all.

She was a girl—a young one, at that.

This was almost too much to take in!

The four of them made their way to the conference room they’d reserved in advance.

Dr. Varn opened his laptop, ready to discuss the project with Anthea.

Anthea glanced down at her phone. “Give me ten minutes. I just need to finish up two tasks before the deadline.”

“You—you do your assignments on your phone?” Mason stared at Anthea in disbelief.

Anthea hummed an indifferent confirmation, barely looking up.

Her nonchalance left all three men—including Dr. Varn—completely stunned.

No one had imagined that Anthea could handle such complex work on her phone.

“Could we… watch you work?” Eugene asked, almost reverently.

“Sure,” Anthea replied with a small nod.

The three men hurried over to her side, even the usually stern Dr. Varn murmuring in awe.

Had he not seen it with his own eyes, Dr. Varn would never have believed anyone could pull off such tasks on a phone, no matter how hard someone tried to convince him.

But Anthea really did it—and with astonishing speed.

Incredible. Absolutely incredible.

Looks like Luxphinia Technologies is truly about to make its mark.

Ten minutes later, Anthea finished her tasks and tapped ‘submit.’

Eugene still looked dazed. “Do you… always work from your phone?”

Anthea pulled her laptop out of her bag. “Depends on the task. For basic stuff like that, my phone’s enough.”

Her tone was casual, but everyone else stared at her like she’d just performed a magic trick.

Basic?

Those tasks were classified as double S-tier, and she called them ‘basic’?

If that was her definition of ‘basic,’ what on earth did she consider difficult?

Eugene began to wonder if Anthea had misunderstood the meaning of the word ‘basic.’

He wasn’t the only one floored; Mason and Dr. Varn were so shocked they could hardly speak.

Those two tasks Anthea had just completed? Even in Dr. Varn’s hands, they’d take two days at least. For anyone else, it would be a month or two, minimum.
