Felix took out a memorial coin and lit it on fire before playing the harmonica again.
As the memorial coin began to burn, Helena’s expression twisted in pain. “Impossible!”
Her body shook uncontrollably. “Stop! Felix, you love me, right? Please, stop! I’m begging you.”
But there was no way Felix would stop. It was clear that Helena was far more formidable than the man from Seapoint.
Finally, as the memorial coin burned to ashes, Helena fell to the ground unconscious. Felix swiftly loaded Helena into the car. After nodding to Wayne and Reagan, he drove off in the opposite direction.
The car was headed toward a coastal area that would take about four hours to reach. Luna had arranged a smuggler’s boat there, and everything was prepared.
When Helena woke up, the first thing she saw was Felix sitting a short distance away, and she felt the unmistakable rocking motion of a boat on the sea. “Where are we?”
“On a ship bound for Dragonia,” Felix replied cautiously.
Helena smiled bitterly. “I won’t fight you again. If I can’t take you down in one move, I’ll only suffer more later.”
Felix nodded. “Good. I’m glad you think that way.”
The harmonica’s melody appeared to inflict pain on the soul, something Helena clearly wished to avoid experiencing again.
They were in the lower deck of the ship. It looked luxurious, all thanks to Luna’s arrangements. With Felix around, she wouldn’t want to arrange a filthy vessel.
“I thought people like you no longer existed. Or rather, I didn’t know how long I’d have to wait to encounter one. But here you are.” Helena chuckled.
Felix didn’t understand what she was saying and wasn’t interested in engaging with her further.
“Tony and I, as in the man from Seapoint, are vigilantes,” Helena explained.
Felix dismissed it as nonsense.
“Please, hear me out. Every word I’m about to say is important, and I’ll only say it to you. If I’m not mistaken, you’ll hand me over to others. The information they obtain will differ slightly from what I’m about to share.” Helena turned serious.
Felix forced a smile. “Go ahead.”
Helena knew Felix wouldn’t believe her but continued nonetheless, “Your country is on the
