Seeing Ernest nod in agreement, Jairo relaxed and sat down. Only around Felix could he let his guard down and enjoy himself, trusting in Felix’s skills as a master healer and his formidable abilities.

Jairo set down his skewer and grumbled in annoyance, “Those Guneria folks are seriously disgusting. They even set an age limit. Why don’t they mention all the resources they poured into developing their drug?” 

Felix agreed with his statement, “Even if they didn’t say anything, Guneria’s lack of integrity is nothing new. The only way to shut them up is to beat them fair and square.” The three men shared a hearty laugh, feeling a sense of satisfaction. Dragonians would never go looking for trouble, but they certainly were not afraid of it either. 

Meanwhile, Jaden was sitting with Jaxon in a restaurant in Avesburgh. While he did not actually hold Jaxon in high regard, he had to show deference due to Jaxon’s role as Xena’s

He said with feigned respect, “Mr. Cunningham, I’m truly sorry for making you come all this way.” 

Jaxon’s expression was dark with anger. “Xena told me what happened, but do you think the Great Imperial Sect can take this insult? Gregory died because of Felix. If we don’t resolve this, we’ll be a laughingstock forever!”
