The Kiss that Sparked it All novel Chapter 876

She was so busy rewriting the whole workbook that she even skipped lunch.

Finally, she tossed the completed workbook on Ellinor's desk, "Done, here you go!"

Ellinor flipped through the book, chuckling lightly, "Not bad; you've improved. You got ten questions right!"

Veronica felt a little awkward. How did she only manage to get ten questions right after attending the whole lecture? How embarrassing!

"I'm starving! I need food!"

Unable to hold her head high in front of Ellinor, whom she disliked, Veronica chose to escape, standing up to leave immediately.

"Hold on." Ellinor called out quietly.

Veronica stopped in her tracks, turning impatiently, "You can't even let me grab a bite to eat? You want me to starve to death or what?"

Ellinor casually put down the workbook, standing up to put on her coat, "Let's go eat out together. I'm famished too."

Veronica was taken aback. Ellinor was inviting her to eat out? What was the catch?

"Hah! As if I'd go eat out with you. I can't deal with the awkwardness."

Ellinor didn't seem to mind, and she put on her coat, "I'm also planning on getting you a bag from Hermès; are you still not coming?"

Veronica's eyes widened in surprise; she thought she heard wrong, "What did you say?"

Ellinor arched an eyebrow, "Not interested?"

Veronica was a little confused about Ellinor's intentions, "Of course I am! But I didn't get half of the questions right."
