Miss Mirabella had always been the talk of the town, wrapped in all sorts of rumors that painted her as almost mythical. When the butler finally saw her in person, he was at a loss for words. Sure, she was striking and had a hint of resemblance to Keir, but other than that, she seemed like any other high-society lady. There wasn't anything that stood out as particularly extraordinary.
Realizing he might have set the bar too high, the butler shifted his gaze. Meanwhile, Mirabella, unfazed by his reaction, stepped out of the car and took in the sight of the grand mansion. With a soft sigh, she did what any young woman would do.
She pulled out her smartphone.
Mirabella opened the camera app but hesitated before snapping a picture. She turned to the butler and asked politely, "Mind if I take a photo?"
The butler was about to say, "That might not be appropriate," but Grady, walking ahead, turned back with a grin and said, "Usually, it's a no-go, but for you, Miss Mira, we can bend the rules."
The butler promptly closed his mouth.
Mirabella raised an eyebrow, quickly found the perfect angle, and snapped a photo. She casually shared it on her social media, skipping a caption but adding a cheerful emoji.
Once done, she tucked her phone away.
"Just one photo? Why not a few more?" Grady asked, surprised.
He remembered how the butler's daughter would sneak plenty of shots whenever she visited. Yet here was Miss Mira, satisfied with just one. Mirabella simply smiled and said mysteriously, "Sometimes, less is more. One photo does the trick."
Grady, puzzled by the younger generation's ways, just nodded and motioned towards the entrance. "Let's head inside."
