"Why? Is there some sort of beef?"
"Not really."
Harold, while driving, said, "Uncle Xavier's son is back, you know, the one who used to dodge you whenever you tried to touch him when you were kids."
"What?"
Sophie frowned.
She had no recollection of the person Harold was talking about.
She grew up in the Aldridge family, later met Jenna, and only saw Adler once during her own coming-of-age party.
"Xavier's son... What's his name..."
Harold thought hard, but he never paid much attention to men's names. His brother had told him several times, but he never took it to heart.
"Colby?"
"Yes! Colby!"
Harold snapped his fingers with one hand, but then he suddenly looked at Sophie, puzzled, and asked, "How did you know? Did my brother tell you?"
"No."
Sophie didn't know why she knew that name; it just popped into her head, and she blurted it out even before she realized.
"Then how did you know?"
"It seems... at the coming-of-age party before, Jenna's boyfriend mentioned him."
"Really? I don't remember that."
"But hasn't he been back for two months already?"
"I don't know."
Harold shrugged and said, "It's possible. Maybe it took Uncle Xavier two months to remember he had a son."
"..."
