Hearing Sophie's words, Sandy relaxed a bit.
She knew Sophie was smart, everyone here was a hundred times smarter than her.
If they said they could help, they certainly could.
"The Silent Shadows... are they really that fearsome?"
Sandy had never seen her brother lose a battle before.
"Yes."
After receiving Sophie's affirmative answer, Sandy fought back her tears and said, "I know I'm not as smart as you guys, but if there's anything I can do to help..."
"You've already done enough."
Sophie patted Sandy on the head.
From the once spoiled and wilful Miss Pollard to the obedient, understanding, brave, and kind Sandy of today.
They had all seen her change with their own eyes.
But this time it was too dangerous, they couldn't risk Sandy's life.
"All the surveillance has been set up."
Colby and Harold walked in from outside the Aldridge Estate, one after the other.
Sandy looked at the two men, both in formal attire, and couldn't help but be taken aback.
Their expressions were like those of soldiers going to battle.
Every face was filled with solemnity and determination.
