William could hardly believe his eyes.
An emergency lane!
They had taken the emergency lane, but how had Colby and the others managed to arrive at the hospital's entrance right on the heels of the ambulance after a fierce battle?
"Pedal to the metal! But that's not the point!"
Jenna hadn't finished speaking when Colby and Harold were already striding towards the hospital interior.
Adler also pulled Jenna along, saying, "Jenna! Come on, let's go over too!"
"Huh? The doctors are all here, why are you guys rushing ahead?"
The operating room was still lit by a red light, and when Colby stood at the door, he was stopped by the hospital director.
"Mr. Colby! Surgery is currently underway. Our hospital's professional doctors have conducted a thorough examination, and Ms. Sophie's wounds have been excellently treated. She is out of danger now. You can rest assured."
Hearing that Sophie was okay, Colby's expression finally relaxed.
"Thank heavens! She's going to be alright."
Jenna also breathed a sigh of relief.
God knows how scared they were when they saw Sophie lying in a pool of blood.
Jenna said, "Colby, you must be exhausted. Why don't you rest for a while?"
"No need, I'll wait here for her."
Colby's gaze remained on the operating room's red light.
As long as the light didn't turn green, he couldn't relax no matter what.
"Then... then let's go get Sophie some soup. Surgery takes a lot of energy!"
As she spoke, Jenna pulled Adler by his side.
Adler knew that what Colby needed most at this time was some time to himself.
So, Adler desperately tried to signal Harold with his eyes.
