Hearing this, Odie fell silent for a moment.
It was supposed to be like this.
He had told himself several times that all of this was just a business deal.
And he had always treated it as such.
As long as everything was turned into a transaction.
Then he wouldn't really be helping Sophie and Colby.
But now...
Sophie and Colby were up against The Silent Shadows.
How was this any different from ants trying to take down an elephant?
He couldn't just stand by and watch them march towards their doom without being able to do anything.
"Gordon and I had a deal, don't let anyone know, or else..."
"Don't worry, boss. You've already told me all this before, I won't forget."
"Mm."
Odie responded faintly.
Gordon had specifically instructed him during their deal that none of this could be revealed to Sophie.
And he had no intention of telling Sophie either.
Meanwhile, Sophie and Colby returned to the computer room, only to find Adler flirting with Jenna.
The two were taken aback when they saw this scene upon pushing the door open.
Jenna, seeing Sophie and Colby, almost immediately jumped up from Adler's arms: "Why didn’t you knock?"
"Exactly! You’re invading our privacy!"
Sophie cleared her throat and said, "…Why didn’t you lock the door?"
Adler scowled, "Colby! Control your wife!"
