Revenge is best served cold novel Chapter 1551

Sandy found herself alone in the pitch-black wine cellar, with gunshots echoing relentlessly from above. She was desperate to find out what was happening, but the cellar door was locked from the outside, making escape impossible.

After what seemed like forever, the chaos above finally quieted down. Yet, the sudden silence only made Sandy's heart race even more with fear. Suddenly, the iron door creaked open, and Sandy ducked into a corner, fearing someone dangerous might enter.

But soon enough, a familiar voice reached her. "Ms. Sandy, it's me," Kena called out, her voice low and a bit shaky. Recognizing Kena's voice, Sandy cautiously peeked out from her hiding spot.

"What's going on out there?" Sandy's voice quivered, the sound of gunfire still fresh in her mind. Kena hurried over, helping Sandy to her feet, before whispering, "Your brother... he's killed everyone in the house."

Fear and sadness laced Kena's voice, leaving Sandy stunned. "My brother..." she managed to utter.

"But don't worry, they didn't find this place. You're safe here, at least for now," Kena reassured her, gripping Sandy's hand firmly. "You can't stay here, though. I think your brother really cares about you, Ms. Sandy. If you go back and say you got lost, he probably won't hold it against you."
