"Okay, hang tight, no peeking."
Kiran gently placed his hands over Sandy's eyes as they strolled forward.
Sandy, growing impatient, blurted out, "Are we there yet, bro?"
"We're here," Kiran replied, removing his hands.
Sandy blinked and finally took in the full view of the mansion before her.
She had always dreamed of moving out from the Pollard family's home and had her heart set on this particular estate. But it always seemed out of reach, with an owner who refused to sell and a father who wasn't keen on her living elsewhere.
Now, standing in front of the mansion with its stunning gardens and soft, glowing lights, Sandy was in awe. "Wow, Kiran... is this really the place you bought?"
"Do you love it?" Kiran asked, smiling. "I remembered it was your favorite."
"But... wasn't the owner adamant about not selling?" Sandy had tried, using the Pollard name and all, but the owner wouldn't budge.
Kiran shrugged casually, "I have my ways. If my little sister wants it, even if it's the stars in the sky, I'll figure out how to get them for you."
"Did you... do something to the owner?" Sandy hesitated, not finishing her thought.
