The person was shaking, spilling every bit of information they had about The Silent Shadows.
"So, you're useless too," Colby remarked, and the man's face went pale.
Colby continued, "Everyone here is guilty. Since you're guilty, let your souls linger in this castle to atone for your sins."
Before anyone could grasp what Colby meant, gunshots erupted around them. The castle filled with screams, and soon, the air was thick with the scent of blood.
"You're a madman... a complete madman!"
Terrified, the man stumbled away, his body trembling uncontrollably as he dashed for the castle's exit.
But he didn't make it to the door before he was shot down.
"Boss, I'll handle this," someone said.
"Make sure it's clean; no evidence left behind."
"Got it."
Colby walked out of the castle alone, his eyes cold and dark, a gaze chilling enough to make anyone shiver.
Since arriving overseas, everyone was as good as dead in Colby's eyes.
In the car, Sophie was dreaming.
In her dream, she was back at her coming-of-age ceremony, surrounded by smiling faces.
Then, a gunshot shattered everything. Darkness enveloped her.
She could hear footsteps approaching.
'Tap...'
'Tap...'
The sound grew nearer.
Sophie turned her head and saw Colby walking towards her.
Excited, she rushed into his arms, only to find his expression cold and detached, his eyes dark and unfathomable.
