Hearing that, Odie's face turned stormy. "What nonsense are you spouting?"
"If you're not some undercover spy sent by the enemy, why are you so obsessed with Sophie? I'm watching her because I like her! Are you saying you do too?"
Odie couldn't help but laugh at Angelo's words. "You like Sophie?"
Even though he was a bit unsure, Angelo mustered up the courage. "Yeah! I've already told Sophie how I feel, and I even confessed to Colby! Plus, Sophie has tacitly allowed me to keep an eye on her. I have her permission, you don't! Clearly, you're the one with the problem!"
"..."
Grinding his teeth, Odie snapped, "Has Sophie lost her mind?"
"Look, it's obvious you're the one with the issue, not me," Angelo teased. "Come on, admit it. Do you have feelings for Sophie?"
"Jonah!"
"Boss."
Odie quickly unlocked the door and shoved Angelo out, his voice icy. "Take him back where he came from!"
"Yes, boss."
"Hey! Just because I've hit a nerve, you can't just get angry and throw me out, Odie! You're just—"
"Make sure his mouth is shut when you toss him out!"
"Yes!"
"Mmph! Mmph!"
Not long after, Jonah returned to find Odie fuming, hands on his hips. "Boss, there's something fishy about this Kiran. Should we..."
"He's definitely not Kiran."
Odie was certain. "If Sophie knows he's not Kiran, why keep him around?"
