"Not at all."
Even though Colt was disgruntled, he couldn't change the fact that the shareholders had unanimously voted to oust Elodie, leaving Burke International in Odie's hands.
"That's what I wanted to hear," Sophie remarked to Timothy. "Let's get going; Mr. Adler's waiting for us downstairs."
"Yes, Ms. Sophie," Timothy replied, trailing behind her.
He truly hadn't anticipated Sophie being this shrewd. With just a few words, she'd managed to sway the shareholders' opinions entirely. Now, Burke International was under Odie's control...
Downstairs, Adler, lounging lazily in the car, yawned and greeted them with, "You two took forever! Is everything sorted?"
"All sorted," Sophie confirmed.
"Sophie, you played a masterstroke!" Adler praised.
"Yeah, and not only that, but I also figured out who used the Spellman family to threaten Timothy," Sophie added.
Timothy's eyes widened in surprise as he snapped his gaze to Sophie. She figured it out? No way!
"Ms. Sophie, who did you say it was?" he asked, his voice tinged with disbelief.
Sophie replied, "I don't know who the mastermind is, but the one who tipped you off had to be Griffin."
Seeing that Sophie had already dug up Griffin's involvement, Timothy couldn't help but frown.
"What's wrong? Think I'm off the mark?" Sophie probed further.
"...No," Timothy muttered.
"Your face says you know more than you're letting on. Got something to hide?" Sophie pressed.
