Revenge After Prison Never Forgiven (Abigail) novel Chapter 108

Chapter 108

After listening to Bianca cry her heart out, Abigail finally said in a calm, steady voice, “I went to the capital today. I’ve seen the Pioneer Fortress and the ancient ruins.

“The ones your three kids used to talk about. There’s a parade this afternoon, and I’m going to see that too.”

At those words, Bianca’s sobs caught in her throat.

Abigail’s tone turned colder than before as she added, “I honestly don’t know how you still have the nerve to ask me for help?

“I’ve been reflecting, Abby. I really have “pica pleaded, her voice raw and shaking. “Please, give us a chance. At least give Stevie a chance. He can’t go

to jail…”

But all her begging and crying didn’t stir the slightest sympathy in Abigail.

Abigail said firmly, “He ran someone over. Facing the law is the least he should do. Why is it that your family always thinks you all can wriggle out of every consequence?

“Oh, one more thing. I have a video of the crash. So, stop calling me, or I’ll hand it straight to the police.”

After saying all that without a hint of emotion, Abigail ended the call right away.

When she stepped out of her room and saw Warren and the others watching her, she met their eyes and calmly said, “Let’s head out after breakfast. I heard if we’re late, we might miss it.”

Sebastian stood up, and there was a flicker of cold intensity in his gaze.

Later that day at lunch, while sitting with Sebastian and the others, Abigail got a call from Timothy.

Timothy sighed, “Your mom showed up at the office in tears. She has made such a scene that the whole department is talking about it. When are you coming back to Cobridge?”

Timothy knew Abigail was with Sebastian, so he was careful not to push too hard. But Bianca had been creating chaos at the company, pressuring them to demand Abigail return home. He was out of options.

Abigail’s expression darkened, her delicate brows furrowing. She thought, ‘I can’t believe she actually went to the company. She couldn’t force me to come home, so now she’s bringing the drama to my workplace.‘

After a moment of silence, she replied, “I’ll speak with Mr. Robinson and call you

back.”

Timothy, afraid Sebastian might blame them for this mess, softened his tone to say, “Look, we’re not saying you have to come back. Just… deal with your mom, alright? It’s not a great sight with her crying at the office entrance all day.”

“She’s not leaving unless I go back,” Abigail said bluntly before ending the call. She knew perfectly well that threats didn’t work on Bianca.

Abigail came out of the restroom and returned to the dining area. She looked at Sebastian and said, “If there’s no more work here, I’ll need to head

back.”

Warren glanced at Sebastian, who was already looking pretty annoyed, and said, “Going back isn’t going to fix your mom causing trouble at the

Sebastian looked at her and said in a laid–back tone, “Mr. Wyatt Gibson might care about you, but he won’t be thrilled to see his son thrown in prison for three years.

“The victim’s family won’t settle. They want to sue the Gibson family,” Abigail said. “So, Mrs. Gibson asked me to beg you for help, but I really don’t want to trouble you with it.”
