"We know we've done wrong.
"We won't do it ever again."
Yolanda didn't reply with anything. Instead, she reached out and held Sharon's hand instead.
Since Gavin wanted to be her support today, she would just ride on his coattail for once on a rare occasion when she did not have to take matters into her own hands.
The socialites were clever people. When they saw how Yolanda responded, they immediately understood what she meant.
They turned to Sharon and started apologizing to her.
"We apologize for what we did, Ms Jones."
"We will never say those kinds of things again, Ms Jones."
"Could you forgive us, please?"
Sharon looked at the socialites, who were suddenly meek, and stole a glance at Yolanda. She didn't expect Yolanda to change so much despite not seeing her for a few years.
The Yolanda that Sharon remembered was a little lady who had just entered her first year of junior high school. But right now, the air Yolanda exuded was way more powerful than she had expected.
"You can decide on whether to forgive them or not."
Yolanda looked at Sharon with a slight smile on her face.
"If that's the case…" Sharon hesitated for a while before turning to the socialites and saying, "Okay. I won't hold you against what you did today."
She didn't grow up wealthy, so she had heard every insult there was under the sun. What the socialites said to ridicule her really didn't affect her at all.
"If that's so, we won't disturb you any further, Mr Savage and Ms Henderson."
The socialites ran away so quickly with their tails tucked in that it was like their lives had just been spared from a death sentence.
Only Queenie, who was still unaware of the current situation, was left at the scene.
"I'm sorry, Mr. Savage. It's all a misunderstanding. We'll—"
The security team lead saw that the situation wasn't right and had also wanted to leave as soon as he could.
