"You don't have to worry about me. I'm already very used to apologizing. You have only angered her because you wanted to stand up for me."
As Sharon spoke, her eyes were red-rimmed once more. "We were merely acquaintances before this. I'm very grateful that you're willing to help me."
Queenie rolled her eyes impatiently at Sharon and Yolanda.
"Are you done proclaiming your love and gratefulness for each other? Both of you disgust me. If you don't apologize, I'll get her sent to the police station.
"Disturbing social order would get her detained for at least seven days."
"I'll apologize."
Sharon quickly begged Queenie for mercy after hearing that Yolanda might be detained for seven days.
"I'm sorry, Queenie. It's just cleaning your boots, right? I promise to clean your boots so well it'll look brand new."
"Don't do it, Sharon." Yolanda held onto Sharon tightly. "She has no right to get me detained."
"You bitch! You really don't know what's good for you, huh?"
Queenie had lost her patience. She raised her hand as a signal to the security guards who were nearby.
"If that's the case, just send her to the nearest police station then."
"Yes, ma'am," the security team leader responded affirmatively.
Then, he and his team walked toward Yolanda with a cold look on their faces.
"You brat! If you apologized sooner, we wouldn't have to do anything."
"Of anyone you could've angered, how dare you anger Ms. Thompson?"
"Are you even worthy of crossing Ms. Thompson?"
"Quick! Run, Yolanda!" Sharon's voice trembled as she choked back a sob. "I'll hold them off for you!"
Queenie glanced at Sharon with disdain. "Hah! None of you are getting away today."
