His words were like a sharp blade that pierced straight into Ava's chest, making her bleed.

The pain made her tremble all over. She quickly reached out to hold onto the table to steady herself.-

Karen smiled and looked at Ava with a mocking expression. "Damien, although you're right, it doesn't change the fact that you're married to her. You can't just not have a baby forever."

She patted Damien on the shoulder and said, "It's actually easy to have a baby. You just have to switch off the lights and close your eyes. As long as you're able to get her pregnant with a son, I don't care about anything else."

Karen sounded like she didn't see Ava as a person at all.

She treated Ava like nothing but a childbearing machine, the kind with no dignity at all!

Should she divorce Damien?

The servants had no choice but to brave themselves and stop Ava.

"Get out of the way!" Ava was also annoyed, and she stared fiercely at the servants.

"What are you doing? Let go of me?" Ava couldn't fight against so many people, and the servants dragged her back into the dining room.

Karen said angrily, "Ava Nagel, it seems that you have no respect for the Radbury family and me at all! Since you are such an uneducated woman, I should really teach you a lesson!"

She pointed at the basement. "Drag her into the basement and lock her inside there for a day and a night. You're not allowed to let her out within twenty-four hours!"

The two servants dragged her all the way into the basement obediently.
