Twin Cupids at Work Daddy Come Home novel Chapter 521

Sam thought for a moment and shook his head. “It’s getting late. We’ll just go ourselves tomorrow.”

Brendan nodded in agreement.

At the Grayson house, Madeline and Julian came to pick up the boys themselves. The kids lit up the moment they saw Madeline, practically bouncing with excitement.

When Julian mentioned that Madeline would be living with them, the boys could barely contain their happiness.

Oliver’s eyes sparkled as he looked up at them. “Really? Does that mean we get to live with Mommy and Daddy from now on?”

Julian nodded. “Yes, you do.”

Noah piped up, “Can we stay together forever?”

Both boys stared up at their parents, their eyes shining like little stars, so full of hope it almost hurt to look away.

Madeline hesitated. Forever? That would mean… she’d have to remarry Julian. Only a married couple lived together forever.

Julian caught her pause and let a slow smile spread across his face. He glanced at Madeline, teasing, “I’d love nothing more, but I’m not sure if your mommy agrees.”

All three turned to look at Madeline, their combined puppy-dog eyes impossible to resist.

She let out a helpless laugh. “You two little traitors. Why would I want to live with him forever?”

Julian raised an eyebrow, looking smug. “Madeline, you can only live with me forever. Who else could it be?”

She rolled her eyes. “There are plenty of men in the world. You’re not the only option.”

Julian’s expression shifted. He pulled her into his arms, catching her completely off guard. “You don’t get to choose anyone else. If you even think about being with someone else, I’ll drag you right back to the courthouse to get that marriage license. Believe me?”

It was almost dinnertime, and the Grayson house was busier than usual. Matthew had brought his whole family over to visit Christian.

Matthew had two kids, Lincoln and Denise, and his wife, Debra, was dressed to impress.

Christian was still sulking after his run-in with Julian, but Matthew’s family was doing their best to keep the atmosphere cheerful, making Christian smile more than usual.

When Julian and the kids walked in, everyone’s eyes shifted their way. Debra was the first to speak up, her voice warm and welcoming. “Julian, you’re back. Perfect timing, we were just about to eat. Bring the kids over. Oh—and who’s this?”

She looked at Madeline, pretending not to know her. “We have a guest tonight? Please, join us, miss.”

Madeline saw right through the fake kindness but still managed a polite smile.

“Daddy, who are they?” Noah and Oliver whispered, tugging at Julian’s sleeve.
