Aliza flinched at the look on Julian’s face, but even so, she couldn’t help leaning in, drawn to that ridiculously handsome man in front of her.
"Mr. Grayson, are you alright? Do you feel sick? Do you need me to help you..."
"Stay away from me." Julian’s voice was cold and heavy, his eyes cutting right through her.
That glare stopped Aliza in her tracks. She just froze, standing there with no clue what to do next.
Julian grabbed his jacket and walked right out the door.
Aliza took a couple of steps after him, but the anger rolling off him was enough to make her stop. She didn’t dare get any closer. She couldn’t figure out what she’d done to make him so furious.
Julian walked out of the club, and the owner noticed how quickly he was leaving. He glanced at his watch.
Only about fifteen minutes.
That was fast. The owner couldn’t help thinking maybe Mr. Grayson wasn’t as impressive as his reputation made him out to be. Not that he’d ever say that out loud. He just put on his best smile and hurried over.
"Mr. Grayson, are you leaving already?"
Julian shot him a freezing look. The owner went stiff, feeling the chill in the air.
"Did you send that woman in?"
The owner nodded, his smile turning sly. "No worries, Mr. Grayson. That girl is completely clean. If you like her, you can take her home."
Julian looked even colder, like there was a layer of frost over his expression.
Just thinking about kissing that woman made him feel sick.
The owner saw Julian’s dark mood and wondered if Aliza hadn’t done a good job of serving him.
He was still trying to figure it out when Julian’s voice cut through, colder than ever. "You should close this place for good."
The owner’s whole body jerked. He just stood there, totally stunned and lost.
