Too Late Mr. White! I'm Married To Your Rival Now novel Chapter 184

Aria's POV

After multiple orgasms, my body collapsed into a boneless heap against Aiden's chest. My lungs struggled for air, my throat raw from screaming his name.

"That wasn't a thriller movie at all," I panted, my fingers tracing lazy patterns on his sweat-slicked chest. "That was straight-up p**n."

Aiden's deep chuckle vibrated against my ear. "You complaining, baby?" His large hand cupped my ass possessively.

"Not even a little," I admitted, feeling another aftershock ripple through me as his fingers dipped between my thighs. "God, I'm so sensitive now."

"Good." He kissed my temple before scooping me into his arms. I didn't protest—my legs had turned to jelly anyway. "Let's get you cleaned up."

He carried me upstairs, my head nestled against his shoulder. The intimacy of the moment struck me harder than the sex had. In the bathroom, he gently placed me on the counter and started the shower.

"Arms up," he commanded softly, and I obeyed, letting him peel my sweat-dampened shirt over my head.

Under the warm spray, Aiden washed my hair with surprising tenderness, his strong fingers massaging my scalp. He worked the soap across my body with deliberate care, paying special attention to the tender places between my thighs where evidence of our passion still clung to my skin.

"You're so fucking beautiful, Aria," he murmured, pressing kisses to my shoulder. "I can't get enough of you."

After drying me off and wrapping me in a plush towel, he insisted I wait in bed while he showered. As I slipped between the cool sheets, it finally hit me—we weren't just having sex tonight. We were sleeping together. Actually sleeping. The realization sent an unexpected flutter through my stomach.

Sex I could handle—we'd done plenty of that. But this felt different. More intimate. More like what real couples do. The thought made me nervous, yet I couldn't deny the thrill of anticipation coursing through me.

When Aiden emerged from the bathroom, a towel slung low on his hips, his skin glistened with lingering moisture. The woodsy scent of his cologne had faded, replaced by the clean fragrance of the shower gel we'd both used. Something about sharing the same scent felt strangely intimate.

I tugged at the thin blanket covering me, suddenly shy despite everything we'd done. "Ready for bed?" I asked, my voice barely above a whisper.

"Yeah." He dropped his towel without hesitation, giving me a delicious view of his naked body before sliding under the covers. "Want the lights off?"

"Please."

Darkness enveloped the room instantly. I lay still, my eyes adjusting to the shadows, aware of Aiden's warm presence beside me. When his strong arm wrapped around my waist, pulling me against his chest, I tensed momentarily before melting into his embrace.

His chest pressed against my back, his heartbeat a steady rhythm against my skin. One large hand splayed possessively across my stomach while his lips brushed the nape of my neck.

"Sleep well, Aria," he murmured, his breath warm against my ear.

Exhaustion pulled at my consciousness as I nestled deeper into his embrace, surprised by how quickly I'd grown accustomed to his touch, his scent, his warmth surrounding me.

That night, I dreamed vividly.

In my dream, the power dynamic between us shifted dramatically. I straddled Aiden's naked body, his wrists bound to the bedposts with silk ties. A leather collar encircled his throat, connected to a leash I held tightly in my fist.
