The Wife You Buried Is Back from Hell novel Chapter 1346

Sometimes, the people involved were the most blind, while the bystanders saw everything with perfect clarity. This fake marriage was likely to become very real, very soon.

The lounge's lighting was soft, accompanied by a soothing jazz melody.

Danielle sat at a corner table, gazing out at the city lights. A deep sense of peace washed over her.

Remembering the bridal boutique from earlier that day—and Alexander's incredibly tender gaze—a sweet smile touched her lips.

She pulled out her phone and texted Alexander: "I'm at the lounge with Kirsten. She had a few too many. Waiting for Gian to pick her up."

His reply was almost instant: "Wait for me. I'm coming to get you."

Not long after, the lounge doors swung open. Gian strode in, looking rushed.

Dressed casually with slightly messy hair, his face was etched with worry.

He immediately spotted Kirsten slumped over the table. Walking over quickly, he crouched beside her and gently brushed her cheek. "Why did you drink so much?" he murmured.

Kirsten groggily opened her eyes. Recognizing him, a goofy smile spread across her face. She grabbed his sleeve and slurred, "Gian... you came."

Gian offered a helpless smile, then turned to Danielle with an apologetic look. "Thanks for looking out for her."

Danielle shook her head warmly. "It's no problem. She was upset, so it's good she let off some steam."

As they spoke, the lounge doors opened again. Alexander stepped inside.

His eyes locked onto Danielle instantly. He crossed the room, wrapping a protective arm around her waist. "Why didn't you wait for me outside?" he asked, his tone laced with concern.

Leaning into his embrace, she chuckled. "I just texted you a little while ago. You got here fast."

Watching the couple, Gian's lips curved into a faint smile.
