Darin took the elevator upstairs.

When he reached the office, he saw Jeremy and Anthony. He walked over and greeted them. "Mr. Milman. Mr. Murray."

Jeremy nodded. "What can I do for you, Mr. Foxhall?"

Darin nodded back. "I'd like to speak with Mr. Milman alone, if possible."

Jeremy met his gaze, then glanced at Anthony.

Anthony stood up. "Alright, you two talk. I have work to do."

With that, he left the office.

Just as he stepped out, he saw Savannah walking toward him. He stopped her. "What is it?"

"There's a document that needs Mr. Milman's review," Savannah said.

"Let me see."

Savannah handed it to him.

Anthony took the file and glanced through the first two pages. "He has a guest right now. Go on with your work, you can come back later."

Savannah glanced toward the office. "Darin is here?"

Anthony confirmed with a hum.

Savannah's brow furrowed slightly. "What is he doing here?"

Seeing her reaction, Anthony couldn't help but smirk. "It's been so many years. Are you still that angry just at the mention of his name? You still can't let it go?"

Savannah shot Anthony a venomous glare. "What nonsense are you talking about?"

She turned and stormed off.

Anthony watched her retreating back, shrugged helplessly, and followed her.

While waiting for the elevator, Savannah said, "If we let Felicia leave Roen Capital, we'll be playing right into the hands of Max and whoever is behind this smear campaign."
