"Dillion, you guys smoking out here?" Jaime Jules proudly introduced them, "My sister came this morning when you guys weren't here yet, so let me properly introduce you. This is my smart nephew's mom, my sister."
"Nice to meet you, Ms. Jared." Dillion seemed calm, but the hand holding the cigarette was trembling.
Rosalynn smiled warmly: "Thank you for teaching my child."
"Cory is a genius, and we're honored to exchange ideas with such a talent!" said a bespectacled programmer.
Rosalynn laughed shyly.
Then she asked Jaime, "Where's Cory?"
"Dillion just gave him some inspiration, now he can't stop," Jaime answered.
Rosalynn frowned slightly, worried: "How's he doing?"
"No problem, I've been watching him, and his temperature and everything are normal," Jaime whispered, "He's rarely this happy, so I'll interrupt him if he doesn't stop by lunchtime."
Lunchtime wasn't far off.
Rosalynn didn't say much more.
She just asked Jaime to keep an eye on Cory, then left.
After Rosalynn left, Dillion put out his cigarette and walked over to Jaime: "What's going on, is Cory sick?"
Jaime sighed.
"Leukemia."
The three programmers' faces changed dramatically: "What?!"
"Shh!" Jaime quickly signaled them to keep it down, "Nobody else knows, so you guys have to keep it a secret. If the media finds out, the internet will go crazy."
"How could such a young kid suffer from such a serious illness?" Dillion frowned.
His own son was two years older than Cory.
How they wished there were more geniuses like Cory, making H Country stronger and thriving without limitations!
"I'll send you the address," Jaime said excitedly, sharing the address with the three people in front of him.
Then, they all went back inside.
Here, the three programmers had their own office, with a fully equipped quiet work area.
Cory was in there at the moment. He was sitting in a custom office chair Wayne had prepared for him, looking very focused.
He didn't seem like a child at all.
Dillion stood there, watching him.
A determined look flashed in his eyes. This child was a treasure from heaven, and they couldn't let him disappear just like that.
He walked over to the side, took out his phone from a drawer, and logged into a website.
