Zenobia was shaking like a leaf when she heard the voice.

She instinctively spun around, catching sight of Rosalynn bolting down a spiral staircase.

Zenobia's hand was trembling as she turned to look at Wayne who was beside her.

He didn't turn around.

But his face was unnaturally flushed, a sight that hadn't been there earlier.

"Yeah, you can't look at her, you're mine!" Zenobia whispered, her voice trembling and sickly.

Rosalynn’s heart felt like it was being squeezed.

After calling Zenobia’s name, Rosalynn suddenly fell down the staircase.
