The Royal Military Academy's Impostor Owns a Dungeon [BL] novel Chapter 743

Chapter 743: A Clean Sweep

Shining, shimmering, and definitely splendid.

That was how one Luca Kyros woke up and graced everyone with his presence.

With skin as soft as a baby’s butt, he looked more refreshed than someone who had just returned from a week-long spa retreat. In fact, one mop—who had been similarly glowing after a setting of booms—had happily muttered that, at certain angles, he could even see a radiant glint popping off his good brother’s cheek.

The elders looked at each other, then leaned out like curious leaves peeking through branches. Their gazes shifted in unison to the man standing behind Luca.

The prince.

Xavier Aeric Solaris looked tired. Polished, but tired.

Even so, his posture was impeccable, his expression calm, and his steps steady. After a long, silent inspection, the elders finally relaxed.

He was walking normally.

Thank the stars.

Still, considering how Luca was practically glowing, there was no denying that Xavier must have worked hard.

Too hard.

And so, the elders exchanged solemn looks and wordlessly agreed to continue cultivating their collection of herbs—mainly stamina herbs. It was, after all, the least they could do for their favorite mortal couple.

But this time, Xavier truly had outdone himself.

The man, husband to the little money-grubber of House Kyros, had gone above and beyond—working through exhaustion to bring home the bacon.

Or, in this case, bring home the rock.

Because when Luca awoke that morning, snugly nestled in the arms of his robust and dangerously handsome husband, he found himself face-to-face with something truly divine.

A cluster of crystal cores.

Not just any cluster, either. These glittering stones were stacked into a mound roughly the size of a laundry machine.

It sparkled. It gleamed. It radiated generational wealth.

It was so splendid that Luca’s nose started bleeding on the spot.

"Ah," Xavier said dryly, handing him a handkerchief. "I see you like it."

Like it?

Luca was in love.

The prince had long accepted that no number of chiseled men could elicit such an emotional reaction from his wife—but a glittering rock or several digits strung and preceded by a currency symbol? That was another story entirely.

Still, as Luca pressed the handkerchief to his nose, he suddenly froze. Because when Xavier—still half-robed and effortlessly majestic—walked past him toward that mountain of crystals with that smooth, languid gait that was uniquely his, Luca started seeing actual stars.

The robe slid a little. The morning light hit just right.

He could hear the heavens singing.

How great would it be, Luca thought in dazed admiration, if his husband sat on a chair carved from crystals just like these?

And when they weren’t busy with work and school, every night they could sit together, with Luca on his lap and polish the crystal chair with lint-free cloths!

How splendid would that be?!

But then Xavier turned, his lips curving in that faint, knowing way, and said, "It’s all yours. Just like every other crystal core I’d find from now on."

And that was it.

Luca melted on the spot.

The little money-grubber’s eyes filled with tears of pure joy as his heart swelled with devotion. His husband was the best husband!

But if that was the case, then how did the happiest wife under the sun—who had practically glowed like a sunrise when he came out to greet everyone—end up looking disheveled, wild-haired, and almost traumatized by the time his father finally woke up?

Ah. That was because Luca Kyros, with the ever-helpful D-29—who had returned with a mysteriously "renewed outlook on life"—had been treated to his biggest haul yet.

The little money-grubber’s eyes had nearly popped out of his head when he saw the pool of corruption they’d gathered.

And then his jaw had dropped even further when he spotted the mountain of beast carcasses arranged neatly into piles.

"So... so precious..." he whispered in awe.

To anyone else, it looked like the most horrifying crime scene they’d ever laid eyes on.

But in the notable and questionable eyes of Luca and his equally unhinged sworn brother, it was a treasure trove.

Then again, if it were all precious, then how could it be a problem?
