Alexandra rolls her eyes, she had thought he had forgotten all about what happened in the woods with Olivia, Adam, and the rogues.

"Wow you always know how to poke a nerve"

"I don't wish to but you left me no choice"

"You are crazy"

"You make me crazy Alexandra. You turn me into a lot of things and sometimes I can't even recognize myself"

"Blame me for everything that's your specialty"

"I'm not blaming you, Alexandra. The best word to say is thank you"

"You are confused"

"I can't be and you should spend more time in the library"

"Nathaniel" she stares into his eyes and he stares back.

"I will have them serve breakfast"

"Forget it I'm bored so I will take a walk around, join me when you are done"

Without waiting for a response, she strides out shutting the door and Nathaniel smiles.

"What a mate!"

Strolling around the inn, Alexandra glances around, admiring the inn she didn't realize was beautiful when they had walked in that day. Looking at the old portrait hanging on the wall, Alexandra could tell the owner was a werewolf and so were the many occupants she had come across while taking a walk.

Catching a glimpse of a book on the table, she walks over, reclines to a seat, and picks up the book, flipping through the pages when a man walks up to her and takes a seat across.

"That's a good book"

Glancing at him, Alexandra averts her eyes to the glossy cover, uncertain if he knew the book was about Greek Mythology.

"You've read the book?"

"No. I was thinking it caught your interest since you got your eyes glued to it for a moment or so"

"Are you following me?" She closes the book

The man chuckles. "No, but I have been watching you, seen you like four times today"

"Is an inn"

"Yes, which am guessing is your first time here"

"Yes"

"Are you visiting or what?"

Alexandra tucks a strand of hair behind her ear. "Of course, I'm visiting, I should be on my way pretty soon"

"You don't seem like you from around here. Which pack did you come from"

"Guerrero pack"

"That's a long drive"

"It is"

"Listen the roads are kinda blocked so I don't know how you are going to make that cut"

"Roads are blocked" she smiles seeing right through him. "I knew you were suspicious the moment you sat down here"

The man raises his brow confused. "I don't understand"

"Did he put you through this?"

"Who?"

"Answer me!" She raises her voice. "I can see right through you, I know what you are doing but tell him that he got it all wrong"

"Who is he?"

"Nathaniel"

"Who is Nathaniel?"

"What?" Alexandra's eyes widened "Are you saying that I've lost it"

"Not completely but sooner than later otherwise why will you be here saying nonsense"

"You think I'm saying nonsense"

"Yes you are, what exactly are you saying" He scoffs

"You are the one who has lost his mind. Do you think I won't find out that you sent him"

"Sent who?"

"Sent that man to me"

"I didn't send anyone to you. Why will I send someone to you? Is this my pack? This is an inn and aside from room service, I haven't sent anyone to you"

"Stop lying you sent someone to me"

"You're unbelievable, I didn't send anyone to you. Why will I send anyone to you? Hang on, did someone say talk to you? Did he say I sent him?"

"Someone talked to me in the lobby while I was reading"

"You were reading" He laughs causing Alexandra to glare at him.

"What's funny?"

"Nothing, old habits don't die"

"I didn't tell you that I'm some freak who doesn't know how to have fun. I love books and I love to party as well"

"Who brings a book to an inn? Is either a newspaper or magazine and if ever is a book, is going to be a romance book, not some science book"

"How do you know I love to read about science"

"Is written on your face, you love to stare at the moon at night right?"

"Yes, have you spying outside my house? Will you sneak into my bedroom through the window as Adam did?" She blurts

"No I haven't been –" Nathaniel chokes on his words. "Wait, what? Adam sneaked into your bedroom"
