The Prison-Made Queen novel Chapter 58

Judie leaned back against the headboard, her fingers tapping rapidly on her phone screen. Although Leilani hadn't given her contact information, Judie had other ways!

When she was sent to the emergency room, a signature was required on the forms. Leilani, not knowing Judie's family contacts and pressed by the urgent situation, had filled in her own name and number. She hadn't expected Judie to use this.

Excitedly, Judie saved "Leilani" into her contacts and added a note: [My Lifesaver]

Just as she was pondering how to introduce herself via text, the ward door was flung open. A woman in a high-fashion suit with exquisite makeup rushed in, her high heels clicking sharply on the floor.

"Judie! What happened? How could you suddenly have an allergic reaction? You scared me to death!"

Libby Palmer, Judie's mother, had been having afternoon tea with friends when she received the call. She had rushed over immediately.

Libby walked quickly to the bedside, holding her daughter's hand in distress. "What did the doctor say? Does anything still hurt?"

She looked Judie up and down. Judie looked a bit pale, but most of the rash on her face had faded, leaving only a few traces on her neck and arms. It didn't look as severe as the doctor had described, so Libby breathed a sigh of relief.

Judie shook her head with a smile. "Mom, I'm fine. Thanks to a young lady passing by who saved me."

Libby frowned. "What young lady?"
