The Prison-Made Queen novel Chapter 525

Leilani squinted. The men's coordinated movements showed they were highly trained professionals. This was no ordinary traffic accident; they were undeniably here for her.

Wasting no time, Leilani whipped out her folding knife, its blade glinting coldly in the dim light.

"Tsk, feisty one, aren't you?" the burly man scoffed. Clearly, they had done their homework and weren't the least bit surprised by her quick reflexes.

Surrounded by the group, Leilani initially held her own easily, thanks to Payton's rigorous combat training.

“Crack!”

A sickening crunch of bone echoed as the burly man screamed and dropped to his knees.

Seeing this, the other three lunged at her simultaneously!

Moving with liquid grace, Leilani slashed one man's arm, sending blood spraying into the air. However, just as she pivoted to take down the second man, the burly leader suddenly pulled a soaked handkerchief from his pocket and clamped it forcefully over her face!

Leilani instantly held her breath, dodging to the side while executing a sweeping kick to his knee. A cloying, sickly-sweet scent invaded her nostrils.

Chloroform!

She stopped breathing immediately, but it was too late—she had already inhaled a few involuntary gasps. A tidal wave of dizziness crashed over her, and her limbs turned to lead.

"Cough..." She stumbled backward, desperately putting distance between herself and her attackers. Leaning heavily on the tip of her knife, she fought to stay conscious.

The lead thug stood up, clutching his knee. A malicious grin stretched across his face, making his thick features tremble. Their intel had warned them she was a skilled fighter, but to him, she didn't seem like much now. No matter how good she was, she couldn't beat a chemical knockout.
