When Tamara arrived at the Sloan residence, it was lunchtime. As she stood in the entryway with her suitcase, the Sloan family was gathered around the dining table eating.
Zeus Sloan was the first to see her. His fork paused, and he looked surprised. "Tamara? Why are you back all of a sudden?"
His tone carried obvious shock. Remembering how perfunctory he had been on the phone last time, Tamara tightened her grip on her suitcase handle but plastered a sweet smile on her face. "I missed Mom and Dad, so I came back to visit."

Josiah frowned, looking at Tamara with suspicion. "Tamara, be honest with us. Did you piss off Mrs. Sherwood again and get kicked out?"
Tamara's eyes immediately turned red, her voice choked with tears. "Josiah, how can you think of me like that? In your mind, am I only capable of causing trouble and nothing else?"
Tamara lowered her lashes, looking innocent. "It's... it's okay."
"Just okay? What kind of answer is that?” Zadie frowned and pressed, "Did you use the medicine I gave you last time?"
Tamara's heart tightened. She answered vaguely, "No... Milford, he... he isn't very willing to get close to me."
Zadie poked her forehead, frustrated by her daughter's lack of progress. "How can you be so useless! Tamara, I told you before, men are simple. As long as there is harmony in the bedroom, the relationship will improve naturally. You have to soften your approach and lower your pride. When it's time to seduce him, you must seduce him!"
Tamara kept her head down, digging her nails into her palms, but pretended to be shy. "Mom, I know..."
