The Prison-Made Queen novel Chapter 305

"Yvonne! Today is your brother's wedding. If there's an issue, let's discuss it privately. Stop talking nonsense!"

Fitch frowned as well, his tone stern. "Have you considered that this is your brother's wedding? Where does this put the Sherwood family?"

Milford stood there, brows furrowed. He looked conflictedly at Yvonne, then at Tamara, before finally whispering to Yvonne to negotiate. "Yvonne, today is my wedding, after all. Can we talk about this privately?"

Yvonne couldn't believe her ears. "Privately? Milford, how can you still be so deluded at a time like this? You still want to marry this viper?"

Yvonne refused to let Tamara off the hook. Gloria saw her determination and didn't know what to do.

Compared to Gloria, Fitch was much calmer and more composed. He stepped forward and grabbed Yvonne, his grip on her arm so tight it made her wince in pain. However, he acted as if he didn't notice at all. His sharp, aged eyes stared dead at Yvonne.

"Yvonne! Stop making a scene! I know you don't like Tamara becoming your sister-in-law, but you can't behave like this! You just woke up in the hospital. Your mind isn't clear, and you're spouting nonsense. By causing a scene at this wedding, have you considered my position? Or your mother's and brother's? Do you still want to be a part of this family?"

Yvonne felt a sharp sting from Fitch's piercing gaze. She instinctively looked at Gloria and Milford. But she found identical expressions of bewilderment and pleading on their faces. She fell silent for a moment.

Fitch's attitude clearly showed he wanted to sweep this under the rug. After all, the marriage between Milford and Tamara concerned the interests of both families. Fitch always prioritized the Sherwood family's interests. Yvonne understood that if she kept making noise... perhaps she wouldn't be able to stay in the Sherwood family anymore.

Just as the situation hit a stalemate, a tall, slender figure suddenly stood up from the guest seating.
