Several business tycoons sat on either side. After a few rounds of drinks, the atmosphere seemed lively, but an undercurrent of tension flowed beneath the surface.

Mr. Palmer, holding his wine glass, leaned close to Callahan with a face full of smiles. “Mr. Langley, regarding that land in the South District, it’s really thanks to your approval. Otherwise, how would Horizon Realty have had the chance to participate?”

Callahan’s long fingers rested on the edge of his glass. He lifted it slightly in response, his voice deep. “You’re too kind, Mr. Palmer. Cooperation leads to mutual wins.”

Seeing that Callahan was willing to engage, Mr. Palmer immediately seized the opportunity. “Yes! Mr. Langley has such great vision! Horizon Realty will definitely follow the Langley Group’s lead in the future!”

Mr. Larson from Vansh Capital, seeing this, also chimed in with a smile. “Mr. Langley, I heard you’re discussing an overseas medical complex project recently? Vansh Capital has some resources. I wonder if there’s an opportunity...”
