An hour later, Leilani's car finally drifted slowly into the villa area. When she arrived at the entrance of the villa, she was just about to park when she caught a glimpse of a familiar figure.
Zeus was wearing a crisp suit, standing by the fountain in the front yard of the villa. A doctor in a white coat was standing next to him, and the two were conversing. As they spoke, they kept looking toward the main gate of the villa, as if waiting for someone.
Zeus certainly acted the part of the gentle elite in front of others. One couldn't see a trace of the arrogant, self-satisfied look he usually wore in front of her.
What a poseur!
Leilani rolled her eyes, mocking him in her thoughts. Immediately after, she frowned. She was here to treat a patient. The Sloan family were all cut from the same cloth—acting like rabid dogs the moment they saw her. Running into him here would not be a good thing.
Leilani immediately turned the steering wheel and drove around to the back door to park. She didn't want to run into Zeus in front of her patient, nor did she want to waste words on him in such a setting.
After parking the car, she entered the villa directly through the back door. To facilitate Leilani's treatment of Mr. Chilton, she had been temporarily included in Mr. Dillon's team. Mr. Dillon had even issued her a pass.
With the pass, and because the guards recognized her from her last visit, Leilani entered without any issues.
Just as she walked into the hall, Floyd received the news and came rushing out to meet her. He was very happy and grabbed her wrist.
