The Prison-Made Queen novel Chapter 133

However, thinking back, her first patient after getting out of prison was Tilda. Moreover, the consultation fee Marlon had given her was generous, and he had introduced many patients to her. He counted as one of the few benefactors she had met since her release.

“Alright.” Leilani nodded in agreement. “When do we start? Where will the treatment be?”

“Brass City.”

Seeing Leilani agree, Marlon breathed a sigh of relief, but then looked a bit troubled. “However... the schedule is tight. I might need you to head there with me tomorrow.”

“So soon?”

“Illness waits for no one.” Marlon smiled bitterly, knowing the timeline was rushed. “His condition has worsened again in the last two days. The family is very anxious.”

Leilani thought about her schedule. Aside from Yvonne's regular follow-ups and Hale's skin treatment, she didn't have other urgent arrangements recently. Since she had already agreed, she would keep her promise.

“Okay, I'll pack a few things later. We leave tomorrow.”

Clothing wasn't the issue; the main thing was her treatment tools. Seeing how nervous Marlon was, Leilani decided she would stop by Pure-Spring Clinic tomorrow morning before leaving to pick up her newly custom-made needles and some rare medicinal ingredients.

Marlon showed a grateful smile. He hadn't misjudged her. Since she agreed, he could report back successfully.

“Thank you so much. Dr. Cheney, rest assured, we have arranged a private jet for tomorrow, so the journey won't be too exhausting for you.”
