The Playboy’s Downfall novel Chapter 89

“HERE,” Zero uttered when he put down the plate on the table.

Isla arched her brow. “Why did you mix the mayonnaise and ketchup?” she asked.

Zero sighed. “It was your mom who did it, baby. Not—”

“What? Didn’t I tell you that you have to—”

“Come on, baby….” Zero went closer to her and sat beside her, “—please… don’t make it too—”

“So, you’re giving up?” Isla cut off the hum of his words.

Zero shook his head. “It’s not like that—”

“Then what?”

He sighed once again and was about to reach for her hand when she moved away from him.

Zero let out a soft chuckle. “Don’t be childish, baby—”

“You called me childish?” Isla’s eyes widened, and she stood up.

He doesn’t know how to react. And he just cursed inside his head. He totally forgot that some pregnant women are sensitive.

“Baby… I’m so—”

“Follow me to the room,” Isla asserted and started to walk her way toward the second floor of their house.

Zero frowned slightly as he followed. He was about to step his foot on the staircase when he saw the maid. “Excuse me, please get the plate at the table, and you can eat the mangoes,” he said and climbed upstairs.

Isla frowned as she turned her back on the stairs and saw Zero staring at her. “Move fast,” she uttered and continued to walk. She opened the door of her room and stepped inside.

Zero follows.

“Close and lock the door,” Isla said, which made Zero’s eyes widen.

When their eyes met, Zero let formed a sly smirk on his lips. “Are we gonna do—”

“Strip!” Isla asserted and crossed her arms in front of her chest.

Zero burst into laughter, but he stopped when he met Isla’s gaze. He pressed his lips and smiled.

He walked closer to Isla. However, Isla raised her hand, putting Zero to a halt. “Stay there,” she said.

Zero nodded. “Okay, baby,” he replied and started taking off his black shirt.

Isla pressed her lips together when she saw Zero’s abs.

Zero put down his shirt on the chair as he walked closer to her. “What’s next, baby?” he asked. The smirk won’t fade away from his lips.

She arched her brow. “Take off your pants and leave your boxer on,” she replied.

Zero’s eyes grew wide. “Are you serious?”

She frowned. “Do I look like I am joking?” she asked, acting fierce when in fact, deep inside her, she wanted to touch his packs.

Zero nodded. “All right,” he answered and took off his pants.

Isla couldn’t help but let out a soft chuckle at this moment. She bit her lower lip when Zero met her gaze.

“I can only dance on the bed—”

“Then come—”

“—When you’re under me…” he cut off.

Isla rolled her eyes. “Dance properly!” she exclaimed again.

She wanted to burst into laughter because this was the first time that she saw how Zero acted like an idiot because of following her. And she really knew deep within her that Zero loves her.

She set up her phone and started to take a video of him which made Zero to stopped swaying his hips.

“I will not dance if you’re gonna do that,” he said and frowned.

She put down her phone and arched her brow, pretending to be a cold bitch. “All right. You can go home now. We’re done here,” she replied and stopped the music. She stood up and walked to the other side, and lay down. And when she looked at Zero… “What are you still doing? We’re already done,” she said and grabbed the pillow. She turned to the side and hugged the pillow.

She glanced at the side table, and it was already Zero-thirty in the evening. “Lock the door when you leave,” she said and closed her eyes.

Zero heaved a deep sigh and walked towards her. He sat on her side. “Baby…”

“Hmm… just leave. I’m sleepy already,” she replied, still her eyes closed.

Zero heaved a deep sigh again and leaned closer to her. And when his warm breath touched her skin, her eyes opened. She frowned and looked at him, turning her eyeballs to the side.

“Go home, Zero,” she uttered and closed her eyes again.

However, Zero doesn’t want to go home, so he pushes her gently and lies by her side, and his right-hand rests on her waist. “Let’s sleep,” he asserted.

Isla really felt sleepy and didn’t mind Zero—she let him stay beside her.
