TWO DAYS had passed, and Isla’s routines are still the same. School, home then repeat. Apollo always checks her through calls since the former is also busy with his business schedules.
As for Zero… she heaved a deep sigh and tapped her pen on her notebook as she glanced outside the window of the empty classroom, she had never seen Zero nor had contact with him since their last meeting at the airport.
She doesn’t know if Zero is just doing it on purpose to lay low because he knew Apollo would be there, guarding her.
She already misses him. Becca even called her many times since she left but Zero… she heaved a sigh again, he never did.
She did try to call him but he was out of reach. She was even tempted to visit his office but what will be her reason to do that? They’re not even in a relationship—even friends. To think of it, they’re just fuckbuddies.
They were destined to pleasure each other—that’s all. Maybe she would also feel grateful for the opportunity because Zero chooses her over the others.
Since it’s her vacant, alone, she stayed in an empty room to finish her activity and when she was done, she enters her last subject this day.
It took one hour and thirty minutes before her last subject ended. After that, she stood in front of the station to wait for a cab. She was about to call one when a black Audi stopped in front of her.
She frowned and looked at her surroundings. She waited for that driver to open the window but it didn’t happen, instead, her phone rang which makes her startled, and picked the call up immediately, not minding the caller.
“Hello?” she started.
However, silence prevailed for a few moments.
“Hello?” she called out again, forehead slightly creased.
Suddenly, she heard a deep sigh. “Hop in,” said the familiar voice whom she had never seen for two straight days.
She put down her phone and pressed her lips. She walked closer to the passenger side and open it. She gasped when she saw Zero in the driver’s seat. Her hands started to tremble but she manages to enter and sat on the passenger seat.
She closes the door and buckles the seatbelt. After this, Zero then drives his car away from the station.
On their way, she keeps on glancing at Zero, trying to catch his attention. However, it’s failed. She then heaved a deep sigh and glanced past through the car window.
She doesn’t know why Zero has to act like this—like she did something wrong even if she’s not. It’s not that she’s looking for good treatment from him—what could she expect? Zero is always Zero—cold, fucker, and unbothered. And she needs to remind herself that they have NO relationship.
But what she’s feeling right now, she feels sad and she hates being ignored. She’s also scared and a coward—she has no guts to ask what’s happening between them.
“How’s your day?” Zero broke the silence inside.
She glanced at him and flashed a weak smile, even though he can’t see it as he was focused on the road. “Fine. It’s just that,” she paused.
Zero then glanced at her before looking back in front. “What?”
She heaved a deep sigh and looked outside the window. “I’m missing Becca. I’m having a hard time adjusting—you know, ever since, we’ve been together and even agreed to study in the same school.”
“You’ll get used to it. Make friends with others then,” he suggested which makes her look into his side.
“I’m an introvert,” she replied.
“But there’s no harm in trying-”
“No,” she shook her head, “it’s fine,” she added.
Zero nodded. “Let’s grab some snack-”
“I think it’s a bad idea,” she interrupted.
Zero’s forehead knitted and glanced at her. “Why?”
“A-Apollo might see us-”
Zero nodded. “I see. Drive-thru then,” she asserted.
She pressed her lips. “Y-Yes.”
After that conversation, silence lingers inside the car once again until they reached one restaurant, and Zero drives to the drive-thru window. “What’s yours?” he asked as he pass to her the menu book.
She started to read what was in it and pointed to the unfamiliar dish—well, she just wanted to taste something new.
“Is that all?” Zero makes sure she’s satisfied with her order already. She then nodded.
When their orders were packed, Zero drove his car again until they enter the condo building where she was staying.
“Hmmm. let’s eat this up-” she paused when Zero suddenly looked at her. “I-If you’re busy-”
“I’ll come,” he interrupted.
“What’s wrong?” Zero asked, slightly tilting his head.
She covers her mouth. “It tastes salty,” she replied and chew the food.
Zero took one piece and tasted it. His forehead knitted. “It’s sour and salty. This will do with a wine or beer,” he suggested.
Her eyes grew a little bigger when she saw that they don’t even have any drinks. “S-Sorry. I’m gonna bring one-” she didn’t finish her words when Zero let out a soft chuckle.
“No worries. I’m just stating my opinion. Besides,” he reached for her hand and pulled her closer to him. “I missed something,” he added. His breath blew into her face and she did smell his minty breath.
She gulped and looked into his eyes. “We need to f-finish these,” she stuttered and pointed to the dishes in front of them.
Zero formed a sly smirk on his lips. “We can continue eating it later. What I wanted to eat right now,” he paused and leaned closer to her, “is you,” he continued.
Her eyes widened and she was about to get out of his grip when Zero forcedly forced her—her body was pressed into him.
Zero met her eyes and without hesitation, he claimed her lips and crushed it hungrily.
She closes her eyes and lets the sweet taste of his warm lips evade her system. To get more comfortable, she encircled her arms into his shoulder, deepening the kiss. Zero then had the perks roam his hand into her shoulder, trailing it into her back until he rests his hand on the sides of her waist.
His lips devour hers and slightly bit it as he trailed down his kisses, reaching her neck and sucking every inch of it. As he continues to give small and hot kisses to her neck, he lifted her and let her sit on the countertop, parting her knees, he stood between Isla’s thighs.
He met her eyes and hold her into the hem of her top and took it off, it then flaunted her huge breasts.
“Shit!” he cursed. “You’re not wearing you-”
“I have my jacket and just unzipped it when we ride the elevator if you remember,” she uttered.
Zero slightly frowned and claimed her lips again. This time, he makes his kisses harsher and even pressed the skin of her waist which makes a groan slip out of Isla’s mouth. His hand traveled above her chest, resting his palm on her breasts as he pulled away. He massages her breasts until he let his mouth envelop one of her tips and sucked it.
Isla looked up and hold at the back of Zero’s head as the latter continue to savor her nipple.
They were on the verge of starting a fire when the telephone rang. Isla bit her lower lip when Zero let go of her nipple and cursed.
“Remind me of cutting the damn line of that fucking telephone!” he uttered, pissed.
She bit her lower lip and jumped off the counter. Not minding her without upper clothing, she then matched towards the table on the side of the sofa and picked the phone up.
