Charlotte took the cake box. The rich scent of mango instantly lifted her mood. She raised a brow and chuckled, "Who would dare?"

"Good point."

Stella laughed sheepishly, realizing how silly her worry was. "I have to head to class now. I actually have a question for you after school today. Can you wait for me, Charlotte?"

"Sure."

Charlotte affectionately pinched Stella's cheek, her voice gentle. "I'll wait for you."
