Chapter299
Antonio lurched forward, his complexion drained of all color, and murmured to Tyler, "What happened? How did things go so wrong so fast?
“Grace wasn't playing us this time? The house is really gone?"
Tyler jumped up, his eyes red with fury, and threw a punch straight at Antonio's face.
Caught off guard, Antonio crashed to the ground.
Michelle gasped and made a move to go to his aid.
But Antonio brushed Michelle aside and got into a scuffle with Tyler.
Quick as a flash, both of them were marked with the signs of a fight.
They only stopped when they were too exhausted to continue.
Tyler collapsed on the ground, his face ashen. "Why did I fall for your lies?
"Why didn't I pick up the phone that day...
"If only I had trusted her, if I had rushed back...
He scrambled to his feet and staggered out of there.
“Antonio, Tyler..." Michelle was a mess, desperate to tag along.
But she tripped, tumbling hard onto the burnt-out remains.
Tyler didn't seem to catch her screams and cries.
Antonio didn't pause either, just ordered his assistant to get Michelle to the hospital. Then he hopped in the car and drove off without a backward glance.
The two cars took off like a shot, vanishing from view in a flash.
