The Lies He Told Me (Grace and Antonio) novel Chapter 295

Chapter295

The awards ceremony ended without a hitch.

Antonio and Tyler, eager to celebrate Michelle's big win, whisked her away for a shopping getaway.

As they cruised toward their vacation destination, Michelle couldn't help but bring up the phone call she'd overheard at the ceremony.

"Did Grace call you guys? I seemed to hear her name right before I went on stage," she asked.

"Screw her. She's just pulling another stunt, trying to light a fire to get our attention," Antonio replied.

“Come on, Antonio. Don't be like that," Michelle gently pushed back. "Grace is just trying to get your attention. She meant well.

"It's allon me. If it weren't for me, she wouldn't have had to resort to something so wild.

"How about we go back and see how Grace is doing?

"If she ticks off and yells at me, I'll just turn a deaf ear."

As Michelle spoke, her eyes were welling up with tears, making her look like a mistreated kitten.

"The security footage shows Ms. Parrish going back into the villa and not coming out, even after the place went up in flames.

"The fire was a real beast. All we could salvage were a few things that might have been Ms. Parrish's."

Antonio's face twisted into a sneer, "Pretending to be dead? Tell Grace, that trick won't fly. She should give it up."

Without a second thought, Antonio grabbed Tyler's phone and blocked the number.

There was no way a schemer like Grace would kick the bucket that easily.
