Byran was yelling his lungs out.
Xenia and Patricia were both scared stiff.
McNeil Howard didn't bat an eye. He calmly got up, grabbed his jacket hanging on the back of the chair, and said coolly, "Byran, you chill out, okay? Ring the bell if you need anything; the nurse will come."
With that, McNeil Howard walked out with his jacket, telling Xenia, "If you want your kid to stay healthy, don't go getting him all riled up now."
He was gone before his words even echoed away.
Xenia frowned, thinking about how her daughter was now out of favor in the Howard family, and her only hope for the future was her son Byran.
So she didn't dare to provoke her son anymore and had to drag her daughter away.
The mother-daughter duo came out of the room, didn't see McNeil Howard, only saw a few bodyguards arranged by Balfour at the door.
After the meltdown Patricia just had, she was drained and sat down weakly on the bench at the entrance, asking her mother fearfully, "Mom, what do we do now? Even Balfour won't help me! Theo might never see me again."
Xenia was also left in a fog by Ellinor today. Her mind was in a total mess, without any clue.
Xenia said thoughtfully, "I was thinking she has no weaknesses in Greenhaven because she never lived here since she was a child... let's go check out where she used to live! Everyone might have some unknown circumstances from childhood to adulthood! Even if she really has no bad past, we can make up some stories!"
Patricia's red swollen eyes lit up again, "Mom, you mean..."
Xenia nodded silently to her daughter, "Patri, it's hard for us to change the current situation in the Howard family now, so we have to find another way.
What Ellinor said today all made sense, and we didn't find a reasonable rebuttal. Now the only way is to have Ellinor's character questioned and confirmed by her old acquaintances, making Ellinor a complete fraud, and naturally, all her words would become incredible!"
Patricia's hope was reignited, "Mom! Then you send someone to do this right away! This time, we must make Ellinor fall into a difficult situation. That’s the only way to vent my resentment!"
