The Kiss that Sparked it All novel Chapter 62

In the emergency room of the hospital, the emergency doctor checked Ellinor's lower abdomen and asked her about some related symptoms, then called for a senior doctor to treat her.

The senior doctor frowned, then turned to the family members nearby, "Has she been popping a lot of supplements lately?"

"..."

Theo had been rarely home, so he didn't have a clue about Ellinor's diet.

Collin stepped up and said, "Mr. Blanchet, according to our butler, Marissa has been cooking nutritious soups for Ms. Mendoza three times a day. Could that be the problem?"

The senior doctor shook his head after hearing this, "She's young and healthy, there's no need for her to overdose on supplements. Too much of a good thing can cause discomfort, even early periods. Her nosebleed and menstrual pain are the result of an overdose of supplements!"

Theo asked, "So what should we do now?"

The senior doctor said, "No biggie! Just stop the supplements, I'll prescribe her some painkillers. She should drink more water and watch her diet when she gets home."

Collin went to the pharmacy to get the medicine.

Ellinor tried to sit up and weakly reached out to grab her shoes on the floor...

Despite trying her best to put on her shoes, she just didn't have the energy.

"Do you need a hand?" Theo watched her and asked with a slight smile.

Ellinor didn't look up, "it’s okay, I can do it myself..."

Theo looked at her, his eyes slightly narrowed, "You wish I could come home for meals every day?"

Ellinor thought for a moment, then shook her head seriously, "You better not come home, it's easier for me to handle grandma alone. If you're home, I have to act affectionately with you, which makes me really uncomfortable!"

Theo's face suddenly darkened, he put her foot that he had just put the shoe on heavily on the ground, "Walk by yourself!"

Ellinor was startled, why did he suddenly get so angry? She's a patient now!

Back at the Blanchet family's house, Marissa looked at her guiltily, "Ellinor, it's all my fault. I thought giving you more supplements would be good for your health, I didn't expect it to make your period so painful!"

Ellinor leaned against the bed head, smiled, and shook her head to comfort Marissa, "Grandma, I'm fine."
